Giusti Saba
Since 1605, seventeen generations of the Giusti family have been producing balsamic vinegar in Modena.
A versatile and natural sweetener, the production of Saba dates back at least to the time of ancient Rome. The sticky-sweet condiment is obtained by cooking must of local grapes in open air for many hours, and reducing it down to a rich, dense syrup. We recommend drizzling over yoghurt or vanilla ice cream, or in place of balsamic vinegar in marinades and salad dressings.
