BRINGING RICE CULTIVATION BACK TO SOUTHERN ITALY AFTER 200 YEARS

For the first time in over 200 years the Bifulco family have brought the cultivation of rice back to the plains of the River Sele in the province of Salerno. Technological advances made in collaboration with the Universita di Napoli Federico 11 have created cultivars with much lower environmental impact; the crops absorb surplus nutrients from the ground and drip irrigation allows for precision watering which reduces the amount of water required.

The result of their innovation and dedication: three delicious perfumed rices in exceptional packaging.
