Team Tartufi

For many years we have sold some truffle products of extremely good quality in the very traditional packaging you often find truffles packaged in. They are expensive products and the packaging reflects this.

But a team of seven young Milanese 20-somethings wanted to change this. For a couple of years their company was supplying high quality fresh truffles to restaurants around the world. At their restaurants requests they created a range of products with truffle as the base: butter, dust, sauces amongst others all came along. To create these products economically, they used the small and most misshapen truffles as the base, saving them from waste. They then decided to take it a step further by putting these products in bright, energetic and tongue-in-cheek branding. Launched in 2023, nothing like this had been seen before in the category, but it did not take long for other brands to follow suit.

They launched the range at TuttoFood that year and it was not long until our first pallet of stock arrived. Many more have followed since. As Camilla says ‘We are making it fun. We have fun when we work, food is fun, truffles are fun. That was the idea.’ And what a great idea it was!
